"Impossible objects". On the top shelf the bottles except one are Finnish.
In the middle you can see bottles by Harry Eng, Will Strijbos and some Japanese
models of Toyo Glass. On the bottom shelf there puzzle/trick mugs and vessels at
least from England (James and Laurie), from Portugal (Carlos), from German (Wolfgang)
from Japan, Russian and Peru.
Same case from the other side.
Anchor stone puzzles and a building set. If you look carefully you can see that the
grey Columbus' Egg is made in Finland by Granitoid Ab. It is a rarity in my collection.
2D-packing puzzles. You can recognise Coffin's models, fantastic models by
William Waite, Jean Claude's puzzles, a puzzle set by Dick Hess and of
course one puzzle made by Trevor. I have made some puzzles. Also there is Tricon
by Naef.
I also wanted to introduce Enigma puzzle as a curiosity. There is Finnish
text on the box too, but nobody knows if it was sold in Finland at all.
Older puzzles. All puzzles in this case are over 50 years old. I believe that
some of them are over 100 old. My ivory collection is small but I appreciate
it quite a lot - many thanks to John Ergatoudis. I am happy that I could get
them about 20 years ago when they were not so expensive as now. Other puzzles are
mostly from the USA but there are some Swedish rarities, eg the wooden "Atom ball" on
the background.
